DAYTON
With a population of approximately 7,000, Dayton is the county seat of Rhea County and home to the Tennessee Strawberry Festival as well as one of America's top-rated bass fishing bodies of water.
Dayton manages its own industrial park, with oversight from a local IDB, and is the home to some of Rhea's largest manufacturers, including La-Z-Boy, TenCate, Nokian Tyres and Baltimore Air Coil, to name a few.

SPRING CITY
Nestled between Watts Bar Lake and Walden Ridge, Spring City is Rhea County's second-most-populous city and the site of TVA's Watts Bar nuclear power plant.
Spring City operates a joint industrial development board with Rhea County and manages its own industrial park north of the city. Spring City's major employers include General Shale Brick and SSM Industries, among others.

GRAYSVILLE
Rhea County's southern-most city, Graysville is the gateway to all the county has to offer. Enjoy hiking along Roaring Creek or exploring beautiful Cranmore Cove.
Graysville is immediately adjacent to one of the most exciting industrial development projects in Southeast Tennessee: McDonald Farm, which is expected to house world-class industry when it comes online in the near future.

Rhea County's primary power supply is generated by the Tennessee Valley Authority. TVA is not only one of the Top 10 Utilities in Economic Development according to Site Selection magazine, its system boasts a 99.9% reliability rating.

Three power distributors serve Rhea County. They are:

Rhea County is served by Middle Tennessee Natural Gas, a 23-county cooperative serving more than 70,000 customers across the state. Middle Tennessee Natural Gas maintains industrial-grade capacity and infrastructure in Rhea County to serve existing, and new, industrial residents.

Water customers in Rhea County are served by a variety of providers, depending on location. Current water utilities are:
Town of Spring City (Spring City Industrial Park)
City of Dayton (Dayton Industrial Park)

Wastewater service is provided at Rhea County's two industrial parks by local municipal utilities.
In southern Rhea County, the City of Dayton is currently expanding wastewater service to roughly quadruple existing wastewater capacity.
Those expansions are set to be complete in Fall 2025.
